Tour to Finisterre

Peregrino tours

Itinerary: Santiago de Compostela – Muros – Ézaro – Finisterre – Muxía – Ponte Maceira – Santiago de Compostela.

One of the most popular tours among pilgrims and tourists visiting Galicia. Both Finisterre and Muxía are characteristic places due to their symbolism and links with the Way of St. James. Cape Finisterre was known as the end of the world and many pilgrims continue their way to this place. Muxía, with its majestic “Santuario da Barca” just a few metres from the sea, also shares with Finisterre the final part of the Way.

On this route we will also stop in Muros, a town with an important historical centre and a fantastic fishing port. Ézaro will be another of our stops, where we will be able to see the wonderful waterfall of Ézaro, its waters correspond to the river Xallas, the only river in Continental Europe that flows into the sea.

The day ends in one of the most beautiful villages in Spain, Ponte Maceira.
